Binge & Purge／たべすぎ〜〜！

Yesterday, 'Shaker' a graffiti artist from Bandong, Indonesia was having his holiday in Malacca. Thus a session was born. A quickie at Joe's. He gave me a Sneakerpimps hankerchief! hehe thanks Shaker!
Raya festival, rendang & ketupat doing triple somersault down the throat, have to refill the empty space anywhere appropriate. I bet its tough to be vegetarian during festive season.

バゲロ〜！Bagero!

ちさいときおとうさんのきっさてんでおとうさんがおこったときバゲロ！バゲロ！といっていました。それから１０ねんごだれかがわたしにじつはバゲロがバカヤロだといいました。バカヤローをはやくちでいうとバゲロになります。バゲロはふるいマレーのえいがからいつもきくことができました。P.RAMLEEのえいがです。P.RAMLEEは１９６０ねんだい、１９７０ねんだいのゆめいなはいゆう／フィルムディレクター。P.RAMLEEのえいがのなかでいつもおこったときバゲロをつかっていました。だからおとうさんとか、おかあさんとか、おじいさんとか、おばあさんとか、ねんぱいのひとはバゲロ！をつかいます。バゲロ。。
When i was young at my father's shop. He used to curse everytime he's angry. His favourite curse word was BAGERO. BAGERO! everytime he's pissed at sumthing like if the employees are lazy or somebody moving too slow. After few years somebody told me that BAGERO was actually BAKAYARO (The basic Japanese bad word). If you say fast enough the word transform into BAGERO. Maybe that's what happen to people who heard it in the first place maybe during Japanese came to Malaya last time & the curse has been passed down. Another possibility is my father,mother,auntie,uncle heard it from old P.Ramlee movies. P.Ramlee is a famous Malay actor/film director during the 60s,70s. Most of his movies you can hear BAGERO curse here and there. That's why the older generation like parents, aunties, uncles & the senior citizen know the word BAGERO & use it either when they're angry or being silly. BAGERO!

Astro, not the tv channel but Astro a graffiti artist from Canada was here in Kuala Lumpur last weekend & we get to jam a session together at Melawati as usual.
Vdsoul,Suga52,Astro,Ork & Sona. We spend more time looking at him painting than do anything & he's cool and very humble person.

Last 3 weeks ago i got 2 visitors coming from 2 different countries. One is from Japan & another is from Switzerland. This is the first time for Ritsukosan & Miekosan to be here in Malaysia, while Kayosensei already here about 3 years. They were fascinated of Malaysia alright. Ison & Nigro are 2 graffiti artists from Switzerland. We brought them to Melawati to paint. Here are some pix of Kayosensei,Ritsukosan,Miekosan eating Asam Laksa & Graffiti mural of Ison,Nigro,Vdsoul,Sona,Suga(me) & Bee Phobia.
せんせんせんしゅう、日本とスイスじんがマレーシアにきました。リツコさんとミエコさんはここにはじめてきましたがカヨせんせいは３ねんぐらいいます。マレーシアはおもしろうかったんでしょう！IsonさんとNigroさんはグラフィティアーティスト、スイスじんです。わたしたちはいっしょにMelawatiに絵をかきました。したのしゃしんはカヨせんせいとリツコさんとミエコさんと私といっしょにAssam Laksa（アッサムラクサ）をたべています。そしてグラフィティーの絵は、IsonさんとNigroさんとVDSoulさん(いいひと！)とSonaさんとSuga52(私の)とPhobiaさんと絵をかきました。

Last weekend, i had 'Freedom Film Festival-FFF' marathon. It was quite an eye opening because the general theme was revolving around the basic human rights, Some you will never expected it happen & its the reality some have to face. I've missed some of the films & managed to catch the good ones as well, some of my favs are "The road to Guantenamo", ( the infamous 'Banksy' 'work'),Reframe,Darahku merah,Lost & Found,Zahari's 17 years, Paradise bus,Singapore GaGa,Twelve 11,The Boy who plays on the Buddhas of Bamiyan & 18MPs. Overall all films are good but those are my favourites. The Invisible Children won the best documentary for this year submission. The documentary is about 9000 refugee children living in Malaysia without proper education & related issues surrounds it. 'Komas' did a good job organizing the event & the live performance by AzmylYunor & Mei Chen was awesome. I'm already looking forward for next year's one...didn't take much but here are some random shots:
